Dayton Home & Lifestyle Expo Guide: Nov 6–8, 2026

The Dayton Home & Lifestyle Expo comes to the Dayton Convention Center downtown, November 6–8, 2026. Local and national home improvement companies set up under one roof, and admission is free. Here’s how to get the most out of your visit.

Expo hours and location

  • Friday, November 6: 12 pm – 6 pm
  • Saturday, November 7: 10 am – 5 pm
  • Sunday, November 8: 11 am – 4 pm

Dayton Convention Center, 22 E 5th St, Dayton, OH 45402. It’s an easy drive from Kettering, Beavercreek, Centerville, Huber Heights, Fairborn, Miamisburg and the rest of the Miami Valley.

Heads up: our Dayton expos alternate venues. This November show and the February 19–21, 2027 show are at the Dayton Convention Center. The Dayton Home Expo on April 23–25 and September 3–5, 2027 is at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds, 645 Infirmary Rd.

1. Reserve your free ticket first

Grab your free ticket on Eventbrite so you can walk right in.

2. Make a short project list

Write down the two or three projects you’re most serious about: a furnace or heat pump before winter, a new roof or gutters, replacement windows, basement waterproofing, or a kitchen or bathroom remodel. Check the exhibitor list as companies are announced.

3. Bring photos, measurements and a recent utility bill

Photos of the space and rough measurements help exhibitors give you real ideas and pricing on the spot. A recent gas or electric bill is handy when you talk about HVAC, insulation or windows.

4. Compare at least three quotes

The biggest advantage of an expo is that competing companies are steps apart. Talk to several pros about the same project, ask about licensing and insurance, warranties and timelines, and compare.

5. Ask about expo-only specials

Many exhibitors offer discounts and financing deals that only apply to appointments booked at the expo. Ask every booth you visit.

6. Come Friday or Sunday for shorter lines

Saturday is usually the busiest day. If you want longer conversations with exhibitors, Friday afternoon and Sunday are quieter.
